PROGRAMME

Scaleup Launchpad programme is built around four themes essential for scaling your business - opening new markets, strategy, financials and people. It also helps you to connect it with cities Norrköping, Tampere and Tartu as implementation environments for products.

Scaleup Launchpad programme includes series of in person crossborder workshops, online trainings, 1to1 sparring with mentors, peer learning and offline/online networking sessions.

The overall length of the programme is about 10 months and the support is available for you during all that time. However, because we know you are busy with your business, the programme is planned not to take more than average few hours per week of your time.

Who can apply?

We are looking for

Companies founded after the 1st of July 2014 and in operation for at least one full fiscal year.
Have a motivated and engaged core team, existing clients, and revenue.
Have raised at least one investment round (bootstrapped businesses are also accepted) and be looking to raise funds in the future.
Have a scalable business model and be located in the Central Baltic Region.

Themes

OPENING NEW MARKETS

Internationalisation is a must when scaling. The question is, how to do it and at the same time to keep up day-to-day work activities rolling.

STRATEGY

Creating longer-term plans to have a scalable roadmap for product updates and prepare yourself for systematic growth.

PEOPLE

When scaling companies, strong leadership skills and knowhow building dynamic team are required from the company management.

FINANCIALS

Challenges of growth companies in preparing themselves for raising another funding round and building an efficient sales pipeline.

There will be three crossborder workshops, one in each city, Tampere, Tartu and Norrköping. The workshops are one of the key elements of the programme which gives you a possibility to face to face meet other participating companies. During few intensive days there is time to...

talk with other scaleups in the program and share learnings and advices
get connected with pilot, testbed or business opportunities from Cities of Tampere, Tartu and Norrköping.
facilitated workshop activity by industry and program theme experts to help you summarize learnings and develop business forward.

And the best part is, that companies only need to take care of there international travel cost. Rest (domestic logistics, accommodation etc.) will be covered by the Scaleup Launchpad programme.

Crossborder Workshops

Utilizing City Connections and International Events

The Scaleup Launchpad programme had been designed in a way that it utilizes existing relationships between Norrköping, Tampere and Tartu. All the cities have a willingness to grow and stay modern, but it also comes with challenges. Therefor, throughout Scaleup Launchpad programme innovative solutions provided by the businesses are encouraged and connected with right representatives of these cities to provide innovations they need.

Within these cities there are also different international events attracting potential customer, investors, partners etc. The programme's one focus is to connect with these events, bring businessses enrolled into the program known and support them finding the right type of connections.

Mentoring: Group Training and 1to1 Sparring

The Scaleup Launchpad program brings a pool of mentors available for you, and we also help to matchmake the best mentor for you responding on the challenges you are dealing with. These selected mentors will provide online training sessions for the businesses enrolled into the programme.

Besidese the group trainings, scaleups will be given certain amount hours to be spent. The scaleup can select the mentor(s) they feel is beneficial to work with, and receiven 1to1 sparring on the growth path.
